The textile material of the flexible patches is l00% recycled polyester. The material is very versatile and feels pleasantly soft even when patching from the inside.
Setting and fastening
Setting and fastening
Although using the patches is really easy anywhere and anytime, remember a few points:
- Always remove the patch from the fabric side to about halfway’ (It makes me feel bad to flap from the back side)
- Place the exposed surface on the repair site without touching the adhesive surface and slide the backing paper off.
- If the hole is large. place another Patch or a small piece of cloth on t he other side. You can pinch the small hole closed.
- Attach by rubbing with a spoon or fingernail for 1-2 minutes.
- Prepare the fire

Do not wash the patched garment within three days of application as the repair patch needs time for the glue to set.
A fantastic quick and simple repair to some much loved and hardworking garden pants. Lovely to look at and super easy to use. Will be packing a bunch for our next outdoor adventure.
I LOVE these pants. Well, they were once pants, and then after holes in the knees became shorts. Made from a soft but sturdy linen, I lived in them and cycled in them. Then the holes became too many, and they became my only-at-home pants. Now, maybe too little too late, I've given them hopefully a few more years with @fabpatch.au patches covering most of the holes. (The wear and tear over more than a decade was quite significant!). Wish I'd found the fabpatches sooner....
What a revelation - FabPatch was so quick and easy to use anyone could use them and repair their clothes themselves no skill involved at all to mend my jeans and pants. Even my son could use them successfully! This Aussie design, Banksia, looks fantastic and worked perfectly giving new life to my fav jeans with style. The Banksia patch worked a treat no one would even know where I split my pants! Can't sow not a problem with this genius idea - so so easy to use - peel, position and rub and amazingly repaired. Love, love being able to repair my clothes myself.
I highly recommend the FabPatch. They are a great way to save money and they work so effectively. Save time, money and the planet at the same time. Win, Win, Win. Excellent Speedy service with questions answered straight away. Great value for money I will be adding a couple of patches to my emergency kit, some for my travel bags and into the car.
