Stretch is water resistant — suited to general clothing, activewear, denim, and backpacks. Extreme is fully weatherproof — built for tents, boots, raincoats, and gear that gets heavily wet or takes hard wear. If in doubt: heavily wet or hard-wearing → Extreme. Everything else → Stretch.
