Common questions
FabPatch is designed to last the life of the garment. The adhesive bonds directly to the fabric fibres and holds through normal wear and washing. Stretch is machine washable at up to 40°C. Allow 3 days before the first wash so the adhesive fully sets.
Denim, jersey, fleece, cotton, nylon and woven and stretch fabrics. So activewear, kids clothing, jeans, jackets, backpacks, and trainers. Works for both external visible repairs and discrete internal repairs. For wool and knitwear use the Merino range. For heavy outdoor gear, tents or raincoats use the Extreme range.
Yes. all patches can be cut to any shape or size with scissors, keeping a minimum dimension of 3cm for sufficient adhesive bonding. This makes one pack suitable for multiple repairs of different sizes.
Place a small piece of fabric, sandwiched between the patch and the garment repair or place a patch on the outside and one inside the fabric.
Wait 3 days before the first wash as the adhesive needs time to fully set. Machine wash up to 40°C, no bleach or fabric softener. Safe to tumble dry and iron.
Yes. Stretch patches work well applied from the inside for a discrete repair. The material is soft enough to sit against skin comfortably.
